Japanese design has been a tantalizing enigma in the West for centuries and as time passes the elegant combination of natural materials and simple lines has proved impervious to the whims of trends or fashions. Something with artistic integrity will always stand the test of time.

Wabi Sabi was established by the Japanese designer Kuniko Kataoka in 1998 and since its inception we have been designing and installing traditional and contemporary Japanese style interiors throughout the UK.

From the initial design right through to the supply of all the different elements we offer a comprehensive service making the screens, furniture and joinery items in our own workshops and importing Japanese tatami mats direct from a traditional maker.
